This stunning wedding at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington did both—pairing sacred tradition with exuberant celebration in a palette of bright oranges, vibrant pinks, butter yellows, and rich reds. The result was a visually striking, emotionally rich event that honored culture, family, and joy in every detail.
Designed by Gordon Duo Weddings, the celebration unfolded across thoughtfully styled spaces, each infused with color, texture, and intention. From the ceremony through reception, the design balanced reverence and festivity—proof that meaningful tradition and bold color can coexist beautifully.
A Palette Rooted in Joy
The color story set the tone immediately. Sun-warmed yellows, lush pinks, and vibrant citrus hues framed the event, creating an atmosphere that felt radiant and welcoming. Florals by Delinger & Radovich layered marigold-inspired tones, soft blushes, and saturated reds, weaving cultural symbolism and visual abundance throughout the celebration.
To support the palette, tabletops were dressed in Shantung Yellow Linens paired with Lamour Butter Napkins, creating a rich foundation that felt festive yet refined. Additional layers of Bali Soft Pink Linens and a Victoria White Overlay added softness and contrast, ensuring the bold colors felt balanced and elevated.
Design That Celebrated Every Moment
Outdoor moments were enhanced with Natural & Orange Market Umbrellas, providing both shade and a pop of color that echoed the floral palette. As guests moved through the event, comfort and flow were thoughtfully considered—Misting Fans ensured a cool, comfortable experience during warmer moments without interrupting the design aesthetic.
Dessert displays became part of the visual story as well, styled on Cupcake Trees that added height, dimension, and a playful elegance to the presentation.
A Celebration of Culture, Community, and Color
Catering partners including Hyatt Regency Lake Washington, Lisa Dupar Catering, Clove Indian Cuisine, Aahaar Indian Eatery, and Mayuri delivered a culinary experience as vibrant and layered as the design itself—each dish adding to the celebration of culture and hospitality.
Paper goods and signage by On the Wall Design Studio tied the entire visual story together, reinforcing the palette and guiding guests seamlessly through the celebration.
