Set against the picturesque grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, this beloved annual picnic and wine auction celebrated everything the Pacific Northwest does best — incredible food, renowned local wines, and effortless outdoor entertaining. Designed for gathering, tasting, and conversation, the event transformed the winery into a relaxed yet polished hospitality experience where guests could wander freely, mingle with winemakers, and savor the region’s best culinary offerings beneath the summer sun.
The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between refined and approachable — elevated enough for a premier wine auction while still embracing the easygoing spirit of an outdoor picnic among the vines.
An Open-Air Experience Designed for Connection
Throughout the property, elegant Frame Tents created welcoming hospitality spaces that provided shade and structure while allowing the surrounding vineyard scenery to remain front and center. Crisp white draping wrapped each tent pole, while carefully covered tent weights maintained a clean, polished appearance down to the smallest detail.
The result felt seamless and intentional — proof that thoughtful event infrastructure can quietly elevate the entire guest experience without distracting from the setting itself.
Spaces Designed for Wandering & Gathering
Guests moved organically throughout the property, stopping to sample wines, enjoy small bites, and connect with local culinary talent along the way. Elegant Chateaux Bars anchored beverage stations throughout the grounds, offering polished service areas that blended beautifully into the winery landscape.
Scattered across the lawn, Umbrella Tables paired with classic Market Umbrellas created shaded gathering spots where guests could relax between tastings while enjoying vineyard views and live conversation.
Comfortable White Wood Folding Chairs reinforced the clean, timeless aesthetic, while crisp Classic White Linens maintained a refined yet approachable atmosphere throughout the event.
A Celebration of Pacific Northwest Hospitality
The culinary lineup showcased some of the region’s most celebrated food partners, including Etta’s, Gnocchi Bar, Lisa Dupar Catering, Tutta Bella, Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, and RN74 Seattle, creating an immersive tasting experience that encouraged guests to explore, discover, and indulge.
Desserts from Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream, Conversation, and Trophy Cupcakes added playful sweetness to the day, reinforcing the relaxed, social energy woven throughout the event.
