At CORT Party Rental, we believe every celebration should tell its own story — and this one didn’t just tell a story; it practically danced off the page. Complete with a live Mariachi band, this bold and joy-filled wedding at The Admiral’s House blended color, culture, and contemporary design into a celebration that felt radiantly alive from the first note to the final spark of the evening.
Perched high above Elliott Bay, The Admiral’s House has long been known for its sweeping views and stately charm. For this couple, the venue’s historic elegance offered the perfect canvas for a wedding that honored tradition while embracing vibrant, modern artistry. Guests arrived at the scene bursting with personality — the kind of energy you feel before you even see the décor.
A Kaleidoscope of Celebration
Clutch Events led the creative vision, designing a space that played with color and texture in the most elevated way. Nothing felt accidental; everything felt joyous. Tablescapes blended sunset oranges and sherbet tones with soft pastels and bold pops of color, all anchored by lush floral arrangements from Bella Rugosa. Their floral artistry introduced saturated pinks, golden marigolds, and citrus-inspired hues that rippled throughout the entire celebration — from the altar to the tabletops to the late-night lounge areas.
Instead of a strict palette, the couple embraced a painterly mix of shades that shifted beautifully from day to night. In the afternoon sun, the décor glowed with warmth. As evening fell, lighting and candlelight transformed the atmosphere into something intimate and cinematic. It was a masterclass in blending modern design with heartfelt cultural expression.
Under the Tent
To bring the design to life, CORT Party Rental provided an array of statement pieces and structural essentials that defined the flow and feeling of the celebration:
A Jumbotrac Tent set the stage, providing modern architectural lines with a bright, open interior.
Beneath it, a White Dance Floor became the heart of the celebration — the perfect surface for twirls, dips, and late-night laughter. Soft glow came from Café String Lights and Wine Barrel Post Lights, adding cozy warmth as the evening transitioned into night.
Tabletops shimmered with Gold Resin Charger Plates, Dottie China, and Firenze China — their mix of patterns and textures creating depth and delight.
Jupiter Fern Glassware and Uptown White Brushed Gold Flatware elevated every place setting with subtle glamour.
Finally, Ivory Shantung Linens paired with Sherbet and Poppy Classic Napkins pulled the palette together — equal parts of sophistication and playfulness.
The Finishing Touches
Additional rentals from Vintage Ambiance, Off the Block Games, and Light Smiths added even more personality: curated lounge vignettes, interactive lawn games, and atmospheric lighting that encouraged guests to linger, laugh, and celebrate well into the night.
