Romance greeted guests at every turn during this enchanting Seattle garden wedding, where soft textures, delicate florals, and an airy sailcloth tent transformed a private residence into a scene straight from a storybook. Inspired by the surrounding gardens, the celebration embraced a neutral palette accented with gentle blush tones, creating a setting that felt timeless, elegant, and effortlessly serene.
Planned and designed by Kaleb Norman James Design, the event leaned fully into the natural beauty of the property. Every detail felt connected to the landscape — lush greenery spilling into the reception space, soft florals layered like they had grown there naturally, and warm light filtering through the tent throughout the day.
A Heavenly Tent in the Garden
At the heart of the celebration stood a graceful Tidewater Sailcloth Tent, its soft peaks and translucent fabric glowing beautifully in the afternoon sun. The airy structure allowed the gardens to remain the focal point while providing an elegant architectural frame for the reception below.
Overhead, a sparkling Crystal Sphere Chandelier added just the right amount of glamour, catching the light as guests dined and danced beneath the canopy.
As evening approached, the tent transformed into an intimate garden retreat — glowing softly against the surrounding greenery and filled with candlelight, music, and conversation.
Elegant Layers & Soft Texture
Guest seating blended classic and rustic elements beautifully. Vineyard Cross Back Chairs introduced warmth and organic texture, while White Chiavari Chairs added timeless elegance throughout the design.
Tablescapes layered subtle neutrals and soft blush tones with intention. Crisp White & Ivory Panama Linens paired effortlessly with romantic Blush Lamour Linens, creating depth without overwhelming the delicate garden palette.
