Some weddings lean bold. Others lean grand. But this one? It floated. With a soothing palette of blue tones woven through every moment, this serene celebration at The Admiral’s House embodied its name: pure harmony from sky to table. The design played with movement, light, and natural materials to create a feeling that was at once timeless and wonderfully fresh.
From the moment guests stepped onto the grounds, the entire scene felt like stepping inside a watercolor — airy, luminous, and filled with subtle gradients of blue. It was a celebration where the sky itself felt like part of the design.
Softness in Every Detail
Led by the artistic eye of Kaleb Norman James Design, the event embraced gentle textures and graceful silhouettes. Billowing drape, soft greenery, and natural wood elements mingled effortlessly, creating an atmosphere that felt calm yet exquisitely styled.
Flowy white pole draping introduced height and grandeur without overwhelming the space. Wispy greenery traced the tent lines and tabletops, bringing an organic softness that connected the design back to its waterfront surroundings. Each detail whispered rather than shouted, resulting in a look that felt elegant, clean, and dreamily effortless.
Under the Clear Tent
To bring this vision to life, CORT Party Rental provided a curated selection of structural and decorative elements that shaped the ambiance: A Jumbotrac Tent created the magnificent clear canopy overhead, allowing endless blue sky to become a natural part of the décor. White Pole Draping softened the structure and added romantic movement as the breeze drifted through. Over the reception tables, a Chateau Chandelier glowed with warm, understated elegance — the perfect counterbalance to the cool blue palette.
A crisp White Dance Floor offered a bright, polished anchor to the reception space, inviting guests to glide, sway, and celebrate late into the evening. Classic Bars provided the clean, timeless structure needed for seamless service and sophisticated style. Vineyard Cross Back Chairs introduced a warm, natural wood note that grounded the otherwise air-light palette. And finally, Grey Velvet Linens added just the right amount of texture — plush, refined, and the perfect tonal complement to the soft blues throughout.
Under the clear tent, every texture, tone, and lighting detail came together to create a look that was restful to the eyes and elevated in its simplicity.
Finishing Touches
The day was further enriched by thoughtful creative partners. Lady Grey Seattle crafted desserts as beautiful as they were delicious — delicate, refined, and perfectly on palette. Seniman Calligraphy added bespoke artistry through paper goods, bringing a romantic hand-touched elegance to place cards, signage, and menus.
And capturing it all in luminous detail was Amanda K Photography, whose soft, ethereal style reflected the wedding’s palette perfectly.
